Thank you to everyone who attended and performed at Planet Mikey-oke! The event, which was held at Showcase Live in Patriot Place, featured a celebrity and listener competition. The WEEI celebrity competition was a heated battle between Mikey Adams and Tom E. Curran. In the end, Curran defeated Mikey with his electric performances of Dani California by Red Hot Chili Peppers and Use Me by Bill Withers. Mikey performed Steppin’ Out by Joe Jackson and Moondance by Van Morrison.

The listener competition was won by Jen Sterling.  Jen, who won a roundtrip from Southwest Airlines, performed Before He Cheats By Carrie Underwood and Natural Woman by Aretha Franklin.
